Lucky Coin is the best two-minute game on my phone

I almost skipped Lucky Coin. The name and the screenshots made it look like every other tapper on the store. Then I opened it, missed the first three flicks, and suddenly forty minutes had gone.

The physics are consistent, which is the crucial thing for a game like this. Once you understand how far a flick carries, you start reading the level ahead instead of reacting.

The difficulty curve is well judged. Early stages teach you the rhythm, then the game starts adding moving ledges, wind that nudges the coin mid-air, and gaps you have to plan two jumps ahead. Nothing ever felt unfair, just harder.

My one tip: don't rush. Lucky Coin rewards a steady rhythm far more than fast tapping. Let the coin settle, watch the spin, and flick on the beat. My best runs came when I slowed down.

It's not a game you'll play for hours straight, and that's the point. It fits into the gaps of a day. That's exactly what I want from an arcade game on a phone.
