Trailbox started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of odd little games we'd found buried on our phones. Most of them were forgettable. A handful were brilliant. This site is where the brilliant ones end up.

We're not a marketing outlet and we don't chase trending titles. Every game here gets installed, played for a real stretch of time, and written about by someone who actually finished a session or two. If a game bores us after twenty minutes, we say so.

The genres are all over the place on purpose. Some days you want a slow strategy grind, some days you want to smash a racing lap between bus stops. We try to cover the whole spread instead of pretending everyone likes puzzles.
